One of the first job opportunities I had when my employment at my former church was over was an organization who approached me and said, “We love what we see you doing in social media! Would you mind helping us look at what we’re doing online and give us your feedback?” That launched me into my first consulting job and several others soon followed.

I’d love to continue helping ministries, organizations and business with their social media and web strategies, but not everyone knows I’m doing this now, so if you or someone you know is looking for some help, advice or direction in their social media and web efforts, please refer them to me.

Last month I worked with LeaderTreks, an organization that partners with youth ministries to help them develop student leaders. (By the way, they’re a very solid organization! I really grew to respect what they’re doing and how they’re doing it.) Here’s what Doug Franklin, their president, said about their experience with me.

We needed help with social media. We had a plan but it didn’t seem to be build on best practices. I asked Tim for help. He was professional and very practical. He created a thorough plan based on solid analysis. Tim wrote a complete report on what was working and what was not. He also gave us a plan on how to move forward and the plan was easy to follow.

I have worked with a number of consultants over the years. Tim was one of the best. Quick, honest and practical. We are now using the steps that Tim has given us and it’s showing great results. I highly recommend Tim and would use him again in a second.
