Today is our one year anniversary of LIVE YM Talk! We briefly reflected on the past year of guests, topics and how the show morphed into what it is today, then we all answered the question, “What have you learned about youth ministry in the past year?” We all learned quite a range of different things.
Some of the things we talked about:
- Navigating major changes in programming high school ministry
- Being creative when resources are minimal
- Transition out of ministry and into new areas in life
- The value of teaching through experiences
- And a lot more…

Next week’s discussion
July 17: Next week Andy Brazelton is our featured guest. He’s been leading a volunteer youth leader for 11 years and has been working for 10 years at Simply Youth Ministry. He’ll talk with us about “how to be a volunteer and still have a full time job and a family” both from the perspective of a volunteer and as a paid youth pastor who works with volunteers.
