At the D6 Conference last month we talked a lot about leading our own families spiritually before we attempt to help other parents lead their families spiritually. While it’s easy for us to think about that in terms of teaching Bible stories and having faith conversations in the car, what about leading your family in worship? Thankfully worship is much broader than just music, but that tends to be the area most of us think of when it comes to worship.
While at D6 I sat down with Peder Eide to talk about how to lead our families in worship. He travels the country as a worship leader who focuses on helping families worship together both in church community and privately in the home. From his experience, he shares with us his perspective of family worship, how to lead it, and ideas for getting started.
