During last week’s LIVE YM Talk on “transferring summer momentum into the fall ministry,” our featured guest, Tony Myles, mentioned a resource he uses to challenge others and himself to spend time with the Lord: The 31 Day Challenge.
Download and print out the calendar below to either use by yourself, with a small group, with the whole youth group, or even the entire church. You could (and should!) encourage families to do this together, too.
Once you see it, the instructions are pretty straight-forward: read the scripture passage for that day and complete the assigned task. Then, in your small group meeting, with your spouse, or whatever context you use this challenge for, discuss it with others for follow-up, accountability, and reflection.

Unfortunately, due to my schedule, there is no LIVE YM Talk today. However, next week our featured guest is Josh Christian who will talk with us about having and raising children in full time youth ministry. See the LIVE YM Talk page for details on how to join the call and/or the live chat.
