This summer you’ll be taking a lot of pictures on your missions trips, camps, VBS, and more. Some programs like iPhoto and Picasa let you turn those pictures into video slideshows, but nothing does it the way Animoto.com does.

I’ve been using Animoto.com for a while. It’s super simple to upload a bunch of pictures, add your audio track or select from their decent selection of Christian songs, choose a pace for your video, and let it turn your photos into a video.

Recently Animoto added the ability to add short video clips to the slideshows, too, which creates a really incredible dynamic.

Check out this Animoto video I made of some of our high schoolers who went to Minneapolis to help clean an inner-city school.

Animoto has a free version which is pretty limited, so you’ll probably want to upgrade. The $30/year subscription gives you unlimited full-length movies and video downloads. Or, you can pay $3 per video if you just wanna try it out a couple times.
